New York, USA 2000-2002

Tribeca ISSEY MIYAKE opened in New York during the fall of 2001 and is the first in a new generation of Issey Miyake stores.

The space fulfils two purposes: in addition to being the company’s worldwide flagship store it is also the new location for its U.S. headquarters.

RS designed the stores core identity. This was based on a constructivist-style montage of all of the Issey Miyake brand logos. A customised font was also created which is unique to the project.
